Snow in March is great because you know it is going to melt soon! Of course, I am not the one snow blowing it – I am just the one out walking around in little circles, making patterns in it. It is the 7th snowiest year here in the Twin Cities – or something like that. It is also closing in on a record number of consecutive days that we have had snow on the ground. Wheeeee! Snow is such a hassle to drive in that I always think I would prefer it just cold and not so snowy, but when it is 30 degrees and the snow is coming down in big flakes, it does seem so nice. Again, just walking around in little circles, not needing to get anywhere.
By the time we went to the Metro Brass rehearsal, it was a bit icy. Don’t like that, not at all.
Here is the one month and three days advance notice of the next Metro Brass concert – April 15 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in White Bear Lake at 7pm. Please come – it’s Keith’s idea of a birthday party (doing what he loves). A big audience is my idea of giving him a nice present.
We’re envious of your snow. We haven’t been able to go snowshoeing even ONCE this winter – combination of lousy snow and weird weather. Oh, well. Hope we can hear the recording of April 15. We’re going to be in Arkansas celebrating the TRUMPET PLAYER who made my career possible. It’s a good excuse…
I would go walk around my backyard if I had snowshoes 🙂 That’s the thing about winter – sometimes you have snow and it is sooooo cold you can’t go outside to enjoy it, and sometimes there is no snow but it is sooo cold you can’t go outside. Oh, I see. It’s cold outside.
Yes, that is a very good excuse – that will be a great trip!
