Keith got the pool open and the pump running yesterday, but it is too cold and rainy to want to swim. Yesterday’s rain enticed some duckies to stop by the pool this morning. I was at school – in the library where for one half hour I had the PERFECT CLASS! They were second graders – they walked quietly down the hall, they sat down on the rug without any arguing or pushing or ANYTHING, they listened RAPTLY to the story, they checked out books without running around or just pulling books from shelves, and they sat on the grey couches and READ without talking and pushing. It was heavenly and I made sure they knew how great they were.
