What a day!! It’s 1am and we just got settled into our new hotel room. We said good-bye to the Boardwalk this morning and set off to do Epcot. My gout foot spread over to my other foot last night and I was afraid I was going to have to wheelchair it today, but I didn’t have to! Huzzah.
We walked to the park, so we could get a soda on the way. Daniel and Amanda rode the boat. We stopped and waved at their boat and they saw us. What fun it is to have other people with us to take our picture.
Keith was wearing his Remy shirt and he was adorable.
Keith has been hearing a background song all trip that he really likes. He has tried to figure out what the name of it is, but has been unsuccessful. Daniel got it – Stranger on the Shore. Huzzah!
There were still more topiary to discover in Canada. The Canada movie made us all want to travel all through Canada.
Amanda and I found out you could get a “postcard” from every country and started collecting. America ran out at the end of the day, but we got all the rest.
We played in the water at the Moana Journey of Water.
We went to the DVC lounge to have a beverage and snacks. The weather forecast said we were in for some rain, and Amanda was very excited. She is a trained weather spotter. She really liked when the rain finally came and we could watch it stream down the pyramid ceiling.
Amanda was making plans – oh the spending!
Keith ran into Daisy. No, he didn’t. He walked past her.
Daniel and Amanda treated us to a delicious pizza dinner. Never was “can’t talk, eating” more true.
We saw these guys! It is always very exciting.
There was Beverly soda. It was just as bad as everyone remembered it.
Spaceship Earth is very sparkly with its new lights. I like it a lot.
Daniel had made a plan for festival food tasting. One we kept thinking about was deep fried cinnamon roll bites with cream cheese frosting and candied bacon. He was disappointed in the temperature (he is a self proclaimed temperature snob), but happy with the taste.
After we closed down Epcot with a second ride on Guardians, we monorailed to the Grand Floridan. We had to pick up our luggage and find out room. We are on the 5th floor facing the Polynesian. It is a lovely view. And a lovely room.
The people are very tired.
