No, we aren’t on another trip. We saw the musical “Memphis” tonight at the Artistry Theater in Bloomington. It was a very good show about desegregating music in the 1950s in Memphis. The cast was really strong, and it is a very enjoyable show. The downside to this production was it was too quiet, which is something I don’t think I have experienced before. It was a little like watching TV with the speakers only in the front. I still recommend it to anyone in the area – it’s running through May 15.
There is a gallery off the lobby and artist Leah Yellowbird was having a show. I was captivated – especially by a giant frog. Enough so that I wondered where we could put a giant frog in our house. The answer is nowhere. But I sure enjoyed thinking about it.
It is so good to get out to see things and to see people seeing things. Yay.
Love 50’s music.
Pleased you had a good time.
No popcorn?😃😃
