Metro Brass had a concert at the Hastings Arts Center tonight. We were so lucky that so many, many of our friends and family came to the show. Donna, Michael, Emma, Levi, Benjamin, Sean, David, and Adam all drove up to be there. The audience was really appreciative!
Last summer I told Adam that I was going to throw him a surprise birthday party for his 40th in April. I have been thinking about how I was going to pull off a surprise, then I realized I had the perfect opportunity! I threw Adam’s party right after intermission at the concert. Everyone shouted surprise, then sang Happy Birthday while he came up to get his present. He was very surprised. Total sucess.
I would gush more about the people who came, because it just means the world to me, but suddenly I am so tired I can’t think. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
