The big band Keith plays with (After Hours Big Band) played at the MN music educators’ conference tonight in Minneapolis. Tom and Louise were nice enough to come down to listen. The band sounded good. We had lots of people to chat with – because there were musicians all over the place. As we were walking out, I realized I never took a picture the whole day. I called out to Tom and Keith and they are the POTD at the Minneapolis Convention Center (which Tom helped build).
MMEA always chooses great groups! It’s nice to know they’re keeping up the tradition. Nice convergence, too–you teaching music one day and going to the music educators’ conference the next. 🙂
I was actually the orchestra director at WHS yesterday. He is a long term sub and wasn’t attending the conference.
Wish we could have been there!
