Monroe Crossing Christmas

Saturday, December 2. 2023

Right after we saw Monroe Crossing in the fall, I checked their schedule to see when we could see them again. Luckily, they have a Christmas show and we went tonight. I enjoy the bluegrass music, but I really, really enjoy watching each of the players. I sure like to listen to brass music, but it isn’t much to watch. These guys are really entertaining. The first half was Christmas music and the second half was requests – just a couple Christmas tunes. I thought it was a nice balance.

  1. Thanks supporting good ol’ bluegrass. I love listening to this stuff, too! SO YOU AND EVERYONE ELSE KNOWS… There’s a really great festival in Smithville, Tennessee every year in the summer – groups and players of all ages. It includes a fiddling contest and the whole nine yards. It’s on the Friday and Saturday closest to the 4th of July every year….
