It was the last day of school and I hung out with kindergarteners and first graders, which was pretty much fun. They were completely oblivious as to what winter break is, but the teachers talked about it constantly, so it must be something.
We went to see the Broadway tour of Mrs. Doubtfire. I know I saw the movie whenever it came out (I don’t have any idea what year it was, but I feel like it was a loooong time ago), but I remembered nothing. The show was absolutely wonderful. Wonderful wonderful wonderful (I guess that should be wunnerful wunnerful wunnerful…but only those old enough will understand). We had a family from the St. Cloud area next to us, having a big night out to the theater to celebrate the season. It was their first time (4th and 5th grade sons) to the Orpheum and they were pretty excited. It made me excited, and I enjoyed the evening that much more.
It is an absolute joy to drive home in the not snow. Yay!
