Glass class #2! Tonight, we weren’t just using the blast furnaces to heat our glass – the glory holes were on, too. They are smaller ovens that we can use to reheat or keep our glass hot. What a relief over last week when we had to go so fast! Everything felt so much more relaxed, and though it was hot, I had no PAIN – which is a total win. We were learning solid shapes – spheres, cylinders, and cones. Keith and Alexander were making real progress. I need practice. I am still panicking. I will learn, it’s just taking time.
And there’s plenty of time! Looks like really good fun to me….
It really is interesting to do something so unlike anything we’ve done before
