On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…

Monday, December 12, 2022

It’s not the 12th day of Christmas, but it is the 12th day of December – and my true love gave to me an estate planning class through community ed.

It was so much fun.

I bet you are not believing me and think that was sarcasm, but it wasn’t at all. Steve, the estate lawyer, was so entertaining, as well as informative. I am going to channel my inner-Steve tomorrow and endeavor to teach as well as he did! Mostly what I learned is that there is MUCH to know about estate planning and that I need to learn to ask questions of the right people and that I should have plans!

I love plans! I have no financial plans or estate plans (OOoooOOooooo do I have an estate? I always assumed I needed a gated driveway to have an estate, but it seems not), but I would be happy to get them.

I didn’t take a picture of the class, but I really have a hard time taking pictures with people in them without their permission. Keith took my picture working on school work at the kitchen island – party one day, work the next – then he said I had to put my Duolingo picture up today. Day 2222 of doing Duolingo every day. Some people think I am crazy, but I really enjoy that little mind exercise every day. I’ve done a little Spanish and a little less Welsh, but mostly, mostly I have done German every day for over 6 years. As Alexander would say, “Ja!”, which is German for “Ja!”

  1. Wow Barbara, well impressed. I have just done 511 days of Welsh and I thought I was doing well. Long way to go to reach your level.
    🙂

    1. 511 days!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
We did Welsh for about two weeks and gave up. I’m very impressed with your commitment. I took German in school, so I had a leg up when I started.
