This has certainly not been a summer for pooling. Too rainy, too cold, too gone. It got sunny by noon and Donna, Emma, and I were in the pool while the men waited to cook hamburgers. We had a lovely lunch, then they headed out. It’s always pretty great when the visit ends and you aren’t the ones driving away 🙂
Keith and I both fell asleep for a bit and then our next visitors arrived. Adalynn brought her mom and dad to come over to go swimmin’! She was busier today captaining all the “boats” in the water than actually swimming – which was probably much easier on her mom’s arms. Her pilot grampa will be happy she called the plane a plane immediately and didn’t think it was a boat – even though it was floating.
We had fabulous cauliflower crust pizza for dinner. It wasn’t good “for cauliflower crust”, it was just plain delicious. Win.
