We called Benjamin from the car on our way to Hudson because we haven’t talked to him since before Japan. We asked him what was new and he said he had a new thing! He would have to send a picture. He and friend Elizabeth had invented a fabulous new way of being – carrying a big, covered cup of sprinkles in the car so when you stopped at DQ and got a cone, you could dip it in sprinkles and eat with joy.
I was thrilled! I told him to hold onto his hat because I was going to make it better. Get a dipped cone and eat the dip first, then dip into sprinkles! The best of two worlds. I told him that is what I do when we go to DQ in Wisconsin, where you can buy little cups of crunch coat. I admitted it took waaaaaaaaaaay too long for me to figure out the double feature on that one and was happy to instruct. He needed no help – he is already doing it. Young brains figure stuff out more quickly.
We got to Hudson and went to our letter restaurants – KFC and DQ! I worked really hard to get a picture of myself and my cone and my crunch coat while Keith ate his blizzard. Tadaaa.

I put some crunch right inside. 🙂

We saw the play Deathtrap at the Phipps. We got there and realized we had moved some tickets to tonight, so we had 4 seats. Apparently we couldn’t go to something in the past and thought we’d ask someone to come with us. Whoops. We both knew the biggest twist from seeing the movie 40ish years ago, but most of the audience was VERY surprised. That was fun.
