Ready to go!

We had a slow-down checking in with our two tubas – not a tuba problem, but a computer issue. I felt so sorry for the workers, but it is Minnesota and we are a nice lot, so I heard no angries.

We went to the Delta lounge. The food buffet was limited ( no, really. There were limited items that I wanted), but it didn’t matter because the mashed potatoes were delectable. So, I drank a Coke and ate mashed potatoes and realized I forgot to take a picture of us with two tubas and had a wonderful time.

I visited the restroom and washed my hands with Grown Alchemist cedar soap. It smelled really good. I researched getting myself some… $37 hand soap! Not getting that anytime soon, so I went back and washed my hands again.

We got to the gate in time to be special people (SPECIAL PEOPLE!) (I guarantee you NO ONE in this section is ANYWHERE close to how excited I am) and get on first. I am in 5G, which is best because it is also something about phones.

I have ordered beef short ribs via eat and sleep ( apparently they just toss it at you, you gobble, then nap). The lady just said we are going to Paris!!!! Even if we’re only there an hour, wheeeeee!
