School of Chocolate

Have you watched School of Chocolate on Netflix? It’s a reality show – but the people are there to learn; they don’t get voted off. The host is an amazing chocolatier, who can apparently make anything out of chocolate. We watch him on YouTube now and then, and it is always amazing.

Today, I was eating chocolate. It was in a pretty standard candy bar flat shape. It was the very last of my advent calendar candy. It was so good.

You probably should start watching with something simpler, but the cello is my favorite.

  1. You confused me by the date. Monday was Jan 30. I had to really think about it, was the day wrong or the date or me? Living your stories. And every time I go back to MN from WA, I wonder why people live in MN. Lol

  2. The cello is beyond impressive…. How could anybody EAT that thing???? (Okay, yes – someone lives at my house who would give it a good try….) Or AFFORD to be able to eat it??? I think they read some really good books or otherwise consulted with a luthier before undertaking this. Amazing. Maybe something like this is the next thing to try following the great glass adventure….

    1. So impressive! We say that about everything he makes – who would eat it? Who could afford it? But every single thing is magnificent! I have done some chocolate molding – small things aren’t too hard. If you have Netflix, watch the first episode of School of Chocolate. I would be the people who failed…
