Sitting All Day or not

We meandered our way out of Indianapolis. We stopped for Chai ( not me. I just waited). We unsuccessfully looked in several places for XXX root beer. Benjamin and I split a cheese steak and a French dip from Capriottis (used to be in Madison – Benjin was happy to find it in Indy). We went to Krispy Kreme (we haven’t been in a long time. We indulged).

Yesterday, the highways out of Indianapolis were RED on the map. Like RED all the way to Chicago. We were glad we were staying another night. The friends left about 10am and there were red spots on the interstate (it took them 11 hours to get all the way back to the twin cities). We didn’t leave until 1pm, hoping that the big crowds checked out at 11am and hit the road, and would be out of our way.

Maybe they did, but we still slowed down a bit. We course corrected and jumped over to a state highway and had a wonderful, mostly alone, ride home (7 hours).

Keith, meanwhile , did not sit down. He said he woke up at 4:15am, but didn’t get up right away. He laid the new floor, installed the cabinet, and grouted the shower. He finished the wipe down at about 11pm. He seems to have become super human.
