We went to the movies this afternoon. I really enjoyed Song Sung Blue. There is lots of Neil Diamond music and that can never be bad. It’s based on a true story of a couple from Milwaukee. They played at the state fair a lot and the fair scenes most definitely were not filmed in Wisconsin. It was okay, because they didn’t even try to look like the right fair. A guess they thought a fair’s a fair, without giving any thought to cream puffs or flavored milk.
I just read that the man’s kids are pissed they didn’t make a ton of money from the movie and are calling Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson monsters. Um. Sad.
