Oceanside has a food and craft and other kinds of vendor market EVERY Thursday night from 5 – 9pm. It said that thousands of people come each week to eat and listen to music and enjoy. I could believe that for summertime, but there aren’t too many tourists around now and I thought it would not be as extensive or well attended as it would be at other times of year.
I was wrong. There was only one empty vendor spot (I wonder what should have been there!). Keith and I were astounded at the variety of foods offered. I started snapping pictures after a while, so I could remember what all was there. I was going to make a list, because the pictures were just shot quickly without care for who or what was in the shot, but as I look back at them, you can see some of the food and identify all of the nationalities and I think pictures are more fun than a list.
We had crawfish etouffee, chicken and waffles (chicken in a waffle cone!), birria tacos, tri-tip sandwich, roasted sweetened nuts, and tres leches cake. Everything was wonderful.
But, what happened with the tire?
I didn’t even remember it until I got in bed. I thought I would add it to today. It’s totally fine -nothing wrong with it. Crazy!
Oh snap, everything here looks like everything I want to be a part of.
And it’s EVERY Thursday!
