I knew they were coming. I said I would be in the pool…and if I was asleep, they could dump me into the water – I would wake up.

I swam a very few laps, then settled in for a sunny nap. I woke up after who knows how long and listened to a not too distant sound of a saw. I wondered why someone is always sawing around here.

I drifted off again.

I listened to a lawn mower. I thought I heard someone talking. Was it my people? I don’t know because I drifted off again.

The front door camera told Keith that they had arrived. He looked out and saw me sleeping. He walked downstairs to get a drink and looked out the kitchen window at the perfect moment for the POTD.
