Tetris

Happy Birthday to my sister, Nancy! Pictures indicate that she had a lovely time and a really good-looking cake.

I played Tetris. Benjamin and I were at a Christmas market in November, just walking around looking at stuff, talking about random things. He asked if I had Tetris on my computer. I answered like it was obvious, “No.” Tetris went away when computers got better, and Tetris was an old game. Oh, the sadness, but it was probably for the best, because I had a very hard time stopping playing. He responded, “I didn’t know. You could have it now.” I did wrinkly eyebrows. “I’m here, aren’t I?” (out of the house, not playing Tetris, like I would be if I had it) He understood immediately, because he was there when he was a child, and I was playing Tetris every chance I got.

He got me Tetris and a keyboard to play it on for Christmas. Apparently, you can now lie to computers and tell them that they are old and that they want to be able to run Tetris. Yay fooling computers! I have been waiting for Keith to install it. It occurred to me today that I could be waiting forever, because he did not know I was waiting for him. It took him a couple minutes after lunch.

I did stop playing….after a while. I am not playing now. I am going to play after I finish this. Which is now. Bye
