That wasn’t the plan

I had a plan.

It involved three parks and a nap. We really needed the nap after less than 6 hours of sleep last night. We got to three parks.

We thought we’d be at the studio for a couple hours in the morning and then head back for a nap. Nothing went according to plan. We still had great fun – and a great buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich that was so good we ordered a second one.

We ended up staying there until we were able to hop at 2:00 (we went to the bus by 1:29 and stood next to the sign that said service to Animal Kingdom after 1:30 for exactly 30 minutes before a bus arrived. I realize that IS after 1:30). We hopped over to Animal Kingdom and enjoyed ourselves for a couple hours, (we saw the new Nemo show. It was all changed, yet entirely the same) then we were determined to have a nap before we went to Magic Kingdom.

The bus to the Polynesian showed up and the driver told us that they were having shift change so we would have to wait for the new driver. The new driver was not very happy that the check engine light was on. He called, but they told him just to go. We went about a mile and he pulled off to the side of the road and called for a different bus. We waited (without AC!!!!) for about 40 minutes until a new bus and driver and fabulous AC arrived to rescue us.

We picked up our portable charger and left on the monorail and stayed until we could finally get a monorail home – 11:15pm.

We topped 32,000 steps again – I feel like my feet are sorta broken.

I am setting an alarm for 7am to try to get into the virtual queue for Guardians. Beyond that, I don’t have a plan.

      1. Wonderful analysis of the new Nemo show. That’s my thought, the same but not as good. I felt rushed or cheated.
A broken bus is a bad thing. 😩

        1. I didn’t feel cheated until the end – I thought somehow they were going to add the entire story of Dory at the end, that’s why they were hurrying us through Nemo. I really just wonder why they felt the need to change anything. Near as I could tell, the number of cast members remained the same – since the fish still made the opera house and arrows and all. Very curious.
