It’s time for our holly, jolly participation in the POTD! The theme of day six is Pets! Several people have recently lost pets, so please share those important members of your family. Send me a picture – text or email – or [email protected] by 10pm December 6 and it will be in that day’s blog. If you want to remain anonymous, let me know – otherwise I will give you credit. You don’t have to play every day – any day or every day is fine! We will count down the days to Christmas together!

We were off to St. Paul to see The Little Mermaid tonight. We’ve seen the stage version, but this one was the best production yet. The Ordway really seems to know how to put on a show. Our season tickets are in a good spot – and whoever, if anyone, has the seat next to Keith never comes. I didn’t notice until most of the way through the first act that no one was in the seat in front of me (yes, duh) – again, a single seat with no one. I liked it = particularly after I noticed.
Keith dropped me off in front of Rice Park (across the street from the theater) before he went to park. There is a bit of an uphill walk from the parking ramp to the theater and dropping me off saved me lots of panting and hurting as my chest does its thumping whenever I walk up hill (or stairs). What a treat! (I assume for both of us, since it’s really no fun to wait and worry about me for Keith, and he can walk not-unbelievably-slowly so less time in the cold) I got to wander through Rice Park and enjoy the lights.
Here are our hats for today! Thanks you to Nancy, Donna, Jerry and Barbara, Tom and Louise, Benjamin, Julie, Kristine, Keith, and me.
