I love this day. I don’t turn my clocks back and I just keep being surprised it’s not really that late. I get soooo many extra hours! It is the best!
We went to the Minnesota Masonic Heritage Center to see a matinee of Sidekick Theatre’s The Marvelous Wonderettes. It was a 4 woman show – first act at the high school prom in 1958 and second act at the 10-year reunion. There were a gazillion songs from the 50s and 60s, along with some good ole catty girl drama.
Yesterday was a very bad I-have-diabetes-and-I don’t-get-it day with lots of crying and Keith being an absolute hero. Today, I had my head screwed back on and we went to the pre-show brunch (Keith had already signed us up). I ate scrambled eggs and bacon and egg bake (surprisingly carb free and very tasty), 4 blueberries, and a 2″ square of a plain waffle. We went early so we had almost an hour before the show to walk to help bring blood sugar down. It was very successful. It was a really nice buffet for people not limited by dietary restrictions. We had a table for two with our name on it, which was really nice. They also do dinner before evening shows. I highly recommend it as a fun place to meet friends before the show.
