These people can really sing. I mean reaaalllllly sing. Everyone was terrific. We were at Artistry theater in Bloomington. They had a bunch of financial troubles after pandemic, and I am so glad to see them back on their feet. We go with our friends, EB and Kathy, and it was a great time catching up on the drive to and from Bloomington. Captain Von Trapp had an amazing voice and I said at intermission, “I wonder what it’s like to be married to a guy like that. He probably has a regular guy job and goes to be in a play and sounds like that.” EB pointed out that Keith has a regular guy job and goes and plays the trumpet like that. I responded, “Oh. Then his wife doesn’t really think about it.” (Captain Von Trapp had a LOT of music credits. He maybe doesn’t have a regular guy job.)
If you are local, the show is worth the drive across town. It is playing well in to May.
