We decided to stay an extra day because the previously forecast weather has decided to delay itself and we think we can get home tomorrow without being in a blizzard. Why I actually believe the weather forecast is an entire mystery.
We went to Donna and Michael’s house. They are babysitting their grandkitten, Beefstick, while Beefstick’s dad is at rock camp in New Zealand. (New Zealand!! How cool is that? I say very cool.) Beefy is very friendly and oh-so-cute.
We went for a walk to see the yard kaleidoscope decorated for Christmas. It was terrific, as expected.
We had Rocky Rococo’s pizza. We ordered a large and a small and they gave us two large. Win. We did our best to eat it all. Donna had the most pieces – no one was betting on that.
We played our new Stripes game. Fun. Then we played the $100,000 Pyramid and the real hilarity began. There were a number of times the timer had to be stopped because no one could breathe, much less give clues because we were laughing so hard.
Then we played Name that TV show theme song. The best songs were the ones that made Donna dance with Beefy. So much fun.
This much fun should be totally legal all the time. The world would be a much better place…

The Pyramid game is a home version of a game show. It’s been on TV here since I was a kid.
Beefstick is just the nicest kitty. Mason found him in a bush walking home from the part. So glad they found each other
