Thompson Christmas

Why is the potd happening? No idea, but Alvaro didn’t blink or flinch. Nerves of steel. Well, Benjamin didn’t either, but he knew Alvaro couldn’t reach him. Untested nerves.

Keith’s sister, Vonnie, and husband, Mark, volunteered to host us for a day of food and fun. Mark had a spectacular shirt on!

Vonnie made Mississippi pot roast and it was spectacular – taste and texture were perfect. I started with a bit of almost everything, but my second through fifth helpings were just broccoli salad, pot roast, and Doritos. I wonderfully overate the food and needed no dessert.

Cousin Samantha and her daughter were there from Minneapolis. They moved to MN two years ago and us as really bad relatives, we never see them. They were great fun to spend time with.

Benjamin is always in charge of trees with no topper. He used Samantha’s slipper, but Juni requested her boot instead.

Cousin Alvaro was home from Marquette.

Cousin Marcos is enjoying his senior year.

Melanie and David spent the day, but left in the early evening since their flight from Seattle landed at 2am.

We played a bunch of games.

We played the Pringles guessing game. It’s so weird how you can’t figure them out, but when you are told, you can taste it (most of the time). Benjamin ate a BUNCH of the super hot ones.
