Ticket to ride

It was winter today. It was cold and the wind was blowing a LOT (set off some car alarms in the parking lot and blew away all the traffic cones). I was cold, so I was sitting on the couch with my brand-new-from-the-Red-Cross blanket (prize for giving pretty much blood last year) (it came in the mail – so exciting to get a surprise package), still wearing my outside winter scarf. Maren texted that we should come over to play games, so we did.

I did not play Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza (a game I have played BEFORE) because I couldn’t follow the directions. (I am truly sleep deprived.) Uno Attacks is a great improvement over regular (eternal) Uno. The kids went to bed and the grown-ups played Ticket to Ride. I have seen the box so many times in game stores, but never played. Keith and I had beginners luck and tied for the win.

Then we talked about movies and TV – new and old, good and bad. Then we watched hilarious dog videos.

It was a regular fun Friday night – just like the olden (pre-pandemic) days. Nice 🙂
