We had our final walkthrough this morning. Donna gave me lucky ducks and lucky rocks. We went next door at 10am, we got notification of transfer of funds, and we started our monopoly on Oxford Circle.

Donna brought salt and bread and wine, just like in It’s a Wonderful Life 🙂
We noticed right away that our new house is a baby house. Everything is just scaled down…sometimes way down. Donna and I worked on the kitchen. Donna was really good at figuring out where things should go. Tom and Louise came and helped with boxes and furniture. YAY!
When Benjamin got done with work, he started carrying furniture across the front yards – even when the truck was right in the driveway. 🤦♀️ Then he and Donna started taking everything out of the basement. Basement to basement is a good way.
We noticed that the floor in Keith’s office was crackly when you walked on it. I suggested we quickly tear it out and replace it with vinyl planks before bringing over his furniture. After dinner from Culver’s, Benjamin tore out the black and white tiles while Keith got underlayment from Lowe’s. Donna was still moving things over. I pretty much just stared into space because I am very tired.
Donna and Benjin appeared to be waiting for conferences to start.
Next they were in the power chair, observing everything we moved.
