I woke up to Keith saying our flight was delayed 90 minutes.
Uh oh. Will we make our connection in Dallas?
Yes. Our plane from Dallas to Minneapolis is the same plane as the one we are taking from LA to Dallas. It can’t leave without us.
We are so lucky.
Keith went out and picked up a pineapple pastry for breakfast and ham and cheese baguettes for dinner. We got a burger and salad for lunch and ate on the sun deck. It was perfectly cloudy and warm today. We went through security barely breaking stride since no one was ahead of us. The gate agents were realllly threatening to gate check everyone’s bags and I was worried, but I had a little duffel and Keith had a backpack, so they were not really good candidates for checking. There was so much room in the overhead bins when we finally got on. I watched movies Good Fortune and Eleanor the Great – I enjoyed both very much.
The plane change in Dallas was long enough for us each to visit the bathroom and get back on the plane. Keith remembered to turn the heat on at home while we were there. I watched the rest of Eleanor the Great and half of Infinity War. Our bags took forever. Dave O. volunteered at the airport until 7 and then waited for us until 10. He is sooooo nice.
And now I am yawning and have to get to sleep so I can get up and go to work. We are home about 3 hours later than I expected, so less sleep than usual. I think I will do fine.
