We don’t actually wrap. We have reusable boxes that we just wrap with curling ribbon to keep them closed. Each kid gets a different color ribbon every year, so they don’t know whose is whose until Christmas morning. There is very little to throw away after unwrapping, and it takes a fraction of time to get everything ready. We “wrapped” everything tonight while watching Candy Cane Lane and then the Christmas episode of Ted Lasso. We mostly just sat and watched both. Tying ribbons doesn’t take very long and now we are done and feeling all festive.
The POTD is from down the street and around the corner. It’s a tree! Did you see it? I think it is wonderful. I really want them to turn their regular white garage lights off, but they never do. I drive by all the time, ready to take a picture, but nope, always on.
