Zero Bedrooms

We needed a direction to go to look for fall colors in the convertible on a beautiful, sunny 60-degree day. I had the brilliant idea of going to find this “house” in the town of Hudson. We first became aware of it from a realtor friend’s FB post in early summer. It was once upon a time a girl scout retreat, but is now zoned residential. It is listed as “0 bedrooms” which makes me laugh every time.

Benjamin would like to live and juggle here. Keith would like to live and make music here. We had such a good time walking around and peeking in windows. I think we could all live here and have plenty of room. Alexander says he would ride the one level in the elevator every time he wanted to go up or down, because if you have an elevator you should use it.

      There’s room! The next building down the street is the neighborhood pool, so there’s an extra bonus

    Ha! Dave and I looked at this place as a potential wedding venue way back when…
    It’s a beautiful piece of property, that’s for sure. Tear down as a house, I would think…

      That is so interesting! It’s zoned residential now, so can’t be a venue for anything. We figure something will buy it to tear down and build. Lots of nice houses going up on the street. We love the idea of turning it into a home – so much potential for crazy cool ideas- and juggling and parties and concerts in your living room!

    I was at this place for a Girl Scout retreat and some Girl Scout leader workshops. It is a beautiful place 😊

    Mark says you could host Keith’s Band rehearsals, and juggling parties. Your explanation to the homeowner’s association – we live here, and we like to host a lot of parties!!
