We got up for breakfast for the first time this cruise, motivated by churro Mickey waffles! I don’t churro, but Keith enjoyed them very much. I had bacon, watermelon, and pineapple, and couldn’t have been happier.
I stayed up until almost 4am reading, so after breakfast we came back to the room. I finished my book while Keith napped, then napped for two hours myself. The waves were waving and the boat was rocking. I felt a little queasy when up, but sitting or being in bed was fine, so I stuck with that all afternoon. I love watching the waves from my video porthole.
Keith went for a hot dog lunch about 3:00 and managed a mile walk on the deck before the wind and spray drove him inside.
Keith finds the soft serve station quite often.
Our show tonight was Blake Vogt the magician. He was TREMENDOUS. I like him a lot and I want to be his friend. The bear was in the pillow and the $100 was in the egg and the stool wasn’t even there!!!! It was amazing!!
I had a CHICKEN pasta dish for dinner. No steak. All day!
We saw Princess Tiana today. She has the best dress because it is green and petal-ly. They do an amazing job here of offering up so many different characters for folks to meet every day. The late show was the Broadway singers again and they were just SPECTACULAR. Their singing is so good it didn’t matter the accompaniment music is not great. Jacob reminds me of Derek from Shrinking (one good eye, theater distance) and I love Derek, so he just makes me happy. Heba had on a gorgeous dress that I would like to own. Kristine wondered if someone our age can wear such a dress and I said someone our age can wear whatever dress they want. I will go internet shopping for it when I have service. (No picture – I remembered)
We stopped in a shop checking for Kristine’s size in a hoodie to magically appear every night on the way out of the theater (it’s not exactly exit through the gift shop, but it is very handy). Tonight they had new hats! Kristine’s sweatshirt size could be hiding wherever these were.
