Last night there was a pirate show and fireworks on deck. They covered the whole center pool area with a floor, so there was a lot of room for people. We were separated from K and J, but watched them from above. But not in a creepy way. They had everyone sit, so that was awesome.

We slept in. Our steward has woken us every morning by knocking or opening the door (okay, one day we got up and drew Olaf). Yesterday he left us a room-occupied door hanger, so today we were left to sleep. I will admit to wondering why it took him five days to figure that out.
Drawing Ursula was hilarious. Somehow Keith’s is a guy in drag. We went straight from Ursula to Nick Wilde. Not as an excuse for my middling drawings, but the guy on all of their learn to draw videos is not a good teacher. Or what/how/when the video makers decided to show us is not great. My biggest problem is the inconsistency – draw a circle, then in the next picture, it is an oval. On the line, then below the line. It is drawing a character and matters not, but I think if Disney is using these on many ships, many times each day, they could be better. Nick was really hard any way.

We did Disney Parks trivia with Zoey and (maybe) Jim from Ottawa. They had the answers! We didn’t even have to think. We got the year Hong Kong Disneyland opened wrong and which park had the first fast passes.
I stayed for Mouseketeer Magic, a who wants to be a millionaire type game. You had to get 5 questions right to win a medallion. The hardest part was getting chosen to play. The hostess would not let you answer incorrectly. The guy in front of me gave all of the answers as soon as the choices came up. At first, I wanted him to shut up, but then realized I am not very fun and calmed down. The hardest question was what year did Fantasia 2000 come out?
Keith walked six laps, half of each battling the wind. The movie came out in 1999, in case you were wondering.

Back in the room, I asked if Keith wanted to nap while I worked on potd. He said no, he was going to read. 🙂

The show tonight was called Broadway Stars. Jacob Dickey and Hiba Elchikhe were our stars. He was on Aladdin on Broadway and touring, she was Jasmine in Australia. There is a no-phone policy in the theater, which is great (there would have been nothing but a SEA of phones the other night for the Golden Mickeys). A woman two rows ahead was making a video and the ushers zoomed down to stop her. Brilliant! A woman in front was repeatedly taking pictures and I was so happy they stopped her, too. (I totally know I took a picture the other night of the violin player. I sincerely forgot until I did it. I used it because damage was already done. I should have been chastised)(I felt bad) Both of the singers were really good and the songs were all the big show stoppers from a variety of movies. Disney uses pre-recorded music for their shows. It’s great because you get the full orchestra arrangement. It’s rotten because there are no musicians and they play the recordings TOO LOUD for the singers. (Tonight and previously) I most enjoyed Outtherelivinginthesun from Hunchback. Jacob said his mom was in the audience about five rows back center for his Broadway debut, and she was there again tonight. She waved. It was the video-ing lady!! Oh no!
I’ve had steak every night of the cruise and tonight was no exception. Every steak has been delicious. Tonight, everyone won with dessert – especially Kristine with a bonus Mickey bar that just appeared without being ordered!
