I woke up last this morning and everyone was already having pie for breakfast. What a treat – for them. I wanted a turkey sammich. I waited a little while and went for it. I had turkey, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on white bread. That is my sammich. So good. I had another half with one slice of bread. While I was cleaning up, I made another half. I mean, it was there. Yum.
We chatted and nibbled. We talked about movies playing now in theaters and movies coming soon. At 2:50, Michael said, “Let’s go to the Rental Family movie.” I looked it up. On in 20 minutes. We made it in plenty of time.
It was a terrific movie we all enjoyed. Brendan Fraser’s face is so expressive. I laughed and I teared up and I just felt happy after the movie. Donna pointed out her seat in the theater, with quite a bit of popcorn dotting the seat and the floor. She and Michael refilled their popcorn and finished it all in the lobby (they did not have any sammiches – whole or half). There was a bit of popcorn on the lobby floor. She said it is a thing with her and popcorn.
We played games – Rummikub, Stripes, and Password. Password was the best! So much laughing. After we finished, Donna found a bunch of popcorn in her sweatshirt. In the pocket? Just here and there? Yes, I think. She is fun to be around.
