David motorcycled away in the morning. We enjoyed Nancy and Donna until they had to get on the road in the early afternoon. Donna asked what my plan is for June, because we have no big travel plans. I will admit that that may seem odd, but we are delighted to be home for a bit. It has been extreme travel season for long enough. I didn’t have much of an answer, because I haven’t thought about it at all. I think that is the beauty of no travel – nothing needs to be planned.
I considered several useful activities as I came in from waving good-bye. I went straight to my bed and took a three-hour nap. Wow did I feel terrific when I got up. We went to see Project Hail Mary, which I could not have enjoyed more. It made me doubly glad to be home and to appreciate my friends and family more than ever.
