Wherever we go

Monday, June 1, 2026

Keith and I had lunch with Gary and Julie before they traveled home today, abandoning Donna, Nancy, and David. They weeded in our yard. Yay. They were heading to Panera when we got home, so I went along.

We were waiting for the buzzer thing they give you to buzz so we could pick up the food. We heard the counter lady call someone else’s name, which made us wonder if we were supposed to be listening. Nancy was looking over the separation wall between the ordering area and the dining room and enthusiastically pointing her finger while saying that she could see our number still on the “being prepared” list. After a little bit, the ladies sitting at the table between her and the wall asked what they were doing wrong to have her shaking her finger at them.

We laughed.

After they left, Donna hopped over to see what it looked like from their perspective. She said it definitely looked like Nancy was scolding them.

We laughed.

It’s our thing.

  1. We would be happy to buy Panera for Donna, Nancy and David in exchange for weeding our yard. 🤣

  2. Another wild and crazy and wonderful afternoon with the White clan. My post yesterday didn’t get posted for some reason. We missed being there. I guess there’s always the 50th. Heck… If we make it that long, we’ll be three days past 60… Yahoo…
