Annual Christmas Party!

Saturday, December 20, 2025

The kids were the high point. Two three year olds and a new baby just make the whole thing fun. I loved the squealing when the grown up men (the dad types, not the grampa types) played hide and seek with the threes. I loved watching them dance to the singing Christmas tree. I loved watching them look out the front window and jump on the couch.

Julie (who wasn’t here) retired Thursday, so we had pudding stuff instead of cake to celebrate her and Keith!

People brought the best food. I ate so much. I made some lousy stuff – quite disappointing beef/pork as well as kinda wrecking Hawaiian roll ham sandwiches. Oh, well. I ate other stuff.

We got Adalynn and Mac little scribble pads that erase when you boop the animal’s nose. I loved the booping, so I had to get it. They liked them a lot.

We were missing Anne and Dave, Rick and Julie, and Sue and Peter this year. It was not the same without them!! We were very happy Bob and Jean and Barb and Mike were here.

Maren texted to see if she could crash the party, but it had already wrapped up. Only Alexander was left. She said she was coming over, and she did. Liam joined her and we all sat around and chatted and had pudding stuff. A perfect end to a lovely day.
