Thursday, October 15, 2026 We went to see You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown at Artistry theater tonight. EB’s mom couldn’t make it, so we invited Louise and it was a grand outing. Thanks to Keith for driving so we could all chat about all the things. The show was very good. I really liked

Wednesday, October 14, 2026 We went to the Park Square Theatre tonight for the first time – for the opening show of their 51st season. Huh. I wonder what took us so long. We learned the ins and outs (literally) of a “new” parking ramp. It was new only in that we had previously entered

Tuesday, October 13, 2026 There was a hand lettered sign up in the media center for the book fair giving parents the opportunity to buy stuff for the teachers. I loooooove hand lettering. I loved the sign. I learned a lot yesterday and staved off the hordes of kindergarteners from rushing at me by saying

Monday, October 12, 2026 I went to work today, which felt as foreign as anything could. I was working for someone who is really good at her job, so that makes the job feel easy, knowing my plans would be so well prepared, but also a bit intimidating, because maybe the kids would notice I

Sunday, October 11. 2026 I think the river boat annual pass has just been a wonderful thing. While we were driving through the glorious West Virginia (I just learned that West Virginia broke off to be a state of its own from Virginia because of slavery. They were against and VA was for it. Interesting

Saturday, October 10, 2026 We went to the Ordway to see the jukebox musical Mystic Pizza tonight. The Julia Roberts 1988 movie was not a musical, so the show is actually called Mystic Pizza: The Musical. Tee hee. Neither of us remember anything about the movie – including if we ever saw it. I enjoyed

Friday, October 9, 2026 We were scheduled to drive the 10 hours from Traverse City to home today. I was planning to leave by 8am, stop as quickly as possible for gas and food, see one Troll, use the in-our-favor time zone change, and get to Woodbury in time for a brass band concert at

Thursday, October 8, 2026 What better way to use your tiny pretend food than to make them into magnets? Good idea, Elizabeth!

Wednesday, October 7, 2026 Benjamin and Elizabeth have a whole jar of gems topped with a giant diamond. OoOoOoOo I drove home. Weird, I know, but I thought Keith could rest. I suggested we order a Rocky Rococo pizza in Eau Claire. The gas gauge was dipping ever lower, but it seemed reasonable to stop

Tuesday, October 6, 2026 We started the day by sending a message to Jerry and Barbara that Keith has a cough and cold. We were scheduled to arrive at their house tonight and to spend two full days enjoying their company, but we didn’t want to just show up with germs without letting them know.
