Saturday, September 12, 2026 I start saying “last nice day ’til June” in September. It means it’s a beautiful day today and pretty soon it will be winter and we gotta appreciate the weather! My kids are verrrry knowledgeable about the last nice day ’til June. Go outside! I figured out yesterday that my body

Friday, September 11, 2026 Alexander woke up to a loud sound in the middle of the night last night. It was a broken pipe in the bathroom, underneath the toilet, spraying water EVERYWHERE. He turned the water off at the main in the basement. He sent a message in the morning asking for help. He

Thursday, September 10, 2026 I went to work at Woodbury Middle School today for my friend, Jody. WMS has been under construction for the summer, and I was very interested in the changes. The POTD is the front office. It is actually a picture of my friend, Betsy, who has a new office job there,

Wednesday, September 9, 2026 I woke up to my alarms this morning, then turned them off. I actually woke up a little after 11am. I got to sleep a little after 3am, so that was a decent sleep. I guess I should figure out which time zone my body is living in and just go

Tuesday, September 8, 2026 After another night of not sleeping well, or not sleeping at all, I woke up at 11am. I am working on Thursday and Friday and I have no idea how that is going to happen. Days away! Not to worry about now. We went to the 12:15 showing of The Dog

Saturday, September 5, 2026 We were going to wallpaper in our bedroom today. Instead, I slept really late, we went to hang out with the kitties because Alexander is out of town, we shopped up all the things we needed to wallpaper, we made sure the wall was clean and smooth, Keith went back to

Friday, September 4, 2026 When we moved in, I had absolutely no idea how to organize the kitchen. This kitchen is so much smaller than next door. It has a lot of cabinets right around the corner in the laundry room, but it was hard to figure what went in the kitchen and what went

Thursday, September 3, 2026 I loved it! Apparently, it is the movie that almost wasn’t. Warner Brothers made it and decided to throw it away instead of adding advertising costs to it. Just throw it away. That is an interesting concept to me. Spend $70million on it, decide it’s not worth an extra $30million to
