Nancy got a new garage floor on Wednesday. As it is with home improvement, when you refresh one thing, it makes the other things look not as nice. The walls got painted on Friday. The garage cafe opened on Saturday. Both the brothers and the other sister all helped get things ready, painted, and celebrated the success. I was just far away. I did get invited over to help Alexander wrangle his basement. He said it had gotten away from him a bit and he needed some company to get it under control. We spent the first two hours having lunch and sitting upstairs, playing with kitties and chatting. Once we finally got started, we did a great job. It is definitely under control now.
