When we moved in, I had absolutely no idea how to organize the kitchen. This kitchen is so much smaller than next door. It has a lot of cabinets right around the corner in the laundry room, but it was hard to figure what went in the kitchen and what went in the laundry room. The laundry room also had an odd closet that is now our beautiful pantry.
I decided today was the day to organize everything! Keith and I stared at everything for a while. I used Keith as a sounding board for thoughts on what we actually use all the time and where things should go. In less than an hour, we had done a superb job of making the kitchen work better! We ended up with quite a bit of extra room in the pantry and we are feeling pretty proud of ourselves.
It’s amazing what you can accomplish if you start.
