Benjin’s kitty, Eggy, is now gone, too. Oatmeal and Eggs Benedict came with breakfast names. While Benjamin told me over the phone that they would be getting to know them before choosing their real names, I heard Sean saying, “Hi Eggy. Hi sweet baby boy,” and I knew the names were never going to change. It was Eggy B for a while, and then sometimes just Eggs or Egg, but mostly Eggy. He was sick with cancer for a long time, but he toughed out all the medicine and hard times. He was a snuggler, and gave Benjamin cuddles until the end.
