I moved stuff

Keith had a recording session with After Hours Big Band this morning. I love when I completely sleep through his getting ready and leaving. I woke up at 8am and got right up (that never happens) and started working on emptying the craft closet and the book closet. I used A LOT of boxes – so many that I had to move stuff over to the new house, empty the boxes, and bring them back for more stuff. I was so proud of myself.

We moved a bunch of tree flowers off the pool and went floating in our pool for about an hour and a half in the middle of the day. If we could have found the air pump and an inflatable chair, I would have been asleep. Instead, we spent the whole time talking about what else we have to do. There is so much! Instead of admitting defeat (I don’t think that is allowed), we got out and started on the garage.

The garage fought back a little bit. We got some things done. We took a shelf next door – and it only fell apart for the last 30 feet that we dragged it into the new garage, screaming and screeching the whole way (the shelf, not us).

Jeffrey, Johanna, and Adalynn came over after dinner. We all enjoyed ice cream from the Mik Mart, then Adalynn and Johanna went swimming. What a joyful time!

Now is an exhausted time! It’s 9:00 and we are going to bed.
