This has been quite a day.
Dave picked us up at 6:30am
Got a two on Wordle
Went to the Delta Lounge, courtesy of our new credit card, and ate omelets, blackberries, and chocolate croissants.
Flew to Denver – I watched the movie Pressure (D-Day weather forecasting) and Keith slept
Time changed
Lyfted to the dealership in Lakewood
Got the keys to our new car
Acclimated a bit to the car
Started the drive home
Had two happy meals with Boo Buckets (one Ursula, one Maleficent) for lunch
Listened to an audio book
Saw some crashed semis (!)
Time changed back
Ate an amazing dinner at Number Juan’s BBQ Mex
Checked into the La Quinta – a great room with a couch. I love a room with a couch
Watched an episode of Ted Lasso
It doesn’t get better than that, does it?
Initial review of the car is that it is adorably little, the seats cuddle you, it has an awesome map display, and it is fun to drive.
Spending the night in Kearney, Nebraska! Did you drive the new little car?
I didn’t! Yet…
Kearney was our usual stop on our way to Colorado Springs. But now we have kids in Elkhorn NE so that’s our new stay over night. Nice little cuddle car you got.
We are going to Elk Horn IA today. Kearney seems to be a very good place to stop – but not compared to seeing family!!
