Mission: Impossible – the final reckoning

OOoooooooeeeee! That was an exciting movie. I was all over my seat, hiding behind my hands, and squeaking with excitement. It has fabulous action sequences – one after another after another – that are all different and all for better reasons than I-have-to-fight-you-because-you-showed-up. We went to the MOA to see it, because they have a Screen X theater. Screen X is 270-degrees or something. It uses the side walls to extend some of the movie. Benjamin told us about it and wanted us to check it out, so we did. Another Screen X is coming in Shakopee, but MOA is currently the only one around.

I liked it. It wasn’t the whole movie, which I thought would be odd, but I didn’t really ever notice when it came or went. It really expanded the breathless feeling I had while Ethan was SCUBA diving and gave extra fear to him hanging from a plane. Tickets were almost $8 more than a regular theater there, and more than bargain Wednesday at Woodbury 10 ($20 vs $5) so I don’t know if I will indulge very often.

I was VERY excited after the movie because it was very exciting. Keith wanted a picture of the sign he could send to Benjin and I jumped in. First I was an X (see potd), then I realized they stylized their X, so I was stylizing. I seem to have absolutely no body sense at all. None.

I also had so much washing my hands. It was way blowier when I could use two hands under the dryer.

  1. They should put a hand dryer by the Screen X sign so people could add an exciting in-motion effects to their “X” pictures. 🙂
