Happy Memorial Day.
We spent the day planting the plants we got from Carla yesterday. It takes us a while to figure these things out – where should everything go?! We planted zinnia and salvia and Hosta in front, Asiatic lilies, tomatoes, peppers and Hosta in back, plus marigolds, something dark purple and sticky-uppy, and basil in pots. Keith finished building the umbrella.
We were talking with Jeffrey about going to Obb’s for fish fry last week and he suggested we meet for dinner tonight. What a great time we had. Jeffrey, Johanna, Adalynn, plus Dave and Anne got back from a long weekend trip to Philadelphia today. They had quite a trip. We enjoyed hearing about it, and Adalynn entertained us with her cuteness all throughout dinner. There was even some music-free dancing!
