Sleuthing

I believe that is a Nancy Drew word. I don’t think real people ever say it. Have you?

Anyway, today we were going to the Lakeville arts center to see Calendar Girls. We’ve been before, but not for a while. The road you drive home on (but don’t drive there on. I don’t know what that is about) has a Mexican restaurant on every block. We somehow chose one one time and really enjoyed it. Neither of us could remember what it was called or where it was or when we went. I figured it didn’t matter – we could go anywhere, but Keith was on it. He was trying to remember anything, and searching the map for pictures to help us jog our memories.

You know how that went, right? Um…no…yes…maybe…no…I don’t know. Not good.

I suggested Ye Old Blog and there it was! December 2023 – we stopped for dinner and had great Mexican food. No name. I instantly (clever me!) suggested looking it up in the credit card transactions. Ta-da!

We had dinner at Mi Pueblo. It was really good. We were going to take home lunch. We just ate it all.

The picture of the day is of some furniture next to the playground at the community center. They have lots of artsy stuff around the building – very nice. This struck me because my dad (who worked for the highway department) made lots of stuff out of signs. This was out of thin metal signs and Daddy made stuff out of big, highway wood signs. The words were on the underside of ours, not being decorations, but it still warmed my heart.
