I got a package in the mail today. How exciting!! I laughed as I opened it and saw Wicked Witch legs. It is the perfect bookmark!! Thank you, Jerry and Barbara!!! I think this was one of those times when you see things that are perfect for someone else and you just know. I love it!
Second spectacular surprise came later in the afternoon. I decided that maybe I should clean up our bedroom a little bit before we leave, so we will be so surprised and delighted when we come home. The stuff (about 90% of it) on my dresser has been sitting there for a year (it’s our house’s first anniversary! We bought it one year ago today. Sister Donna remembered and Keith confirmed April 28. I knew it was in the spring. So, the stuff hasn’t been there a year. It’s been there…about 49 weeks (we didn’t move in right away)). My slippers have been lost the same amount of time. I looked with vigor in November or December when my feet were cold, then gave up. I have a rule about looking only in reasonable places, then just waiting for the lost thing to find itself. Today, I took the lid off the decorative box that has been sitting as close to my bed as you can get and my slippers found themselves!!!!! Surprise!! It was very exciting and very funny. Yay!

Yes, the bookmark was a no-brainer, but Barbara gets credit for finding it. Sometimes it’s sure nice to see something like that, smile, and think “OH, YEAH, we know where THAT goes!”

Yes–the minute I saw the picture of those legs sticking out from under the Sphere, I knew who had to have that bookmark!
