There’s always something

The doors on the coat closet inside the garage door are in sad shape. You can open/close them, but they are wobbly, screechy, and loud. Keith took them down and investigated. There are obvious reasons for the wobbliness, screechiness, and loudness.

It’s a work in progress. Having no doors is nicer than having those.

The other thing is I am greasy and smelly. I got a heart monitor on Monday. I got it from Colin, who was terrifically nice (it was his 17th job anniversary that day. He has three kids – girl, boy, girl – and has been married for 16 years. He was going to be a PT, but got a good, interesting job after college round 1 and went for it. No regrets). I wear it for two weeks and see a new cardiologist July 11. Maybe he can figure something out, so I am not just a gasping puddle all the time. Anyway, I can shower, but I am supposed to try to not get it wet – back to the showerhead and whatnot. I thought that would be easy enough. It was not. I showered Wednesday before work. Not yesterday, because I wasn’t going anywhere and that seemed the way. What did not seem the way was having greasy hair the second day. What is that about? At my old house I could go several days without looking BAD. C’mon hair. Do better. I got up today and thought I smelled bad. Keith keeps smelling me and saying no, but I smell something every now and then. I carefully hid from all people today.

I’m going to tape a plastic bag over it tomorrow.

  1. Press and Seal to the rescue! Tom’s surgeon recommended it after his hip surgery and it worked great.
