We came to see the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. The lobby was full of fun stuff.

We enjoyed the movie so much. They separated the actors from the original backgrounds and remade all the backgrounds. Amazing!

The tornado that practically swept us off of our feet was wonderful. The debris/leaves swirling around was amazing.

It was great when the apples fell from the sky when the scary trees were fighting with Dorothy. We didn’t get an apple (they fell primarily in the center and we were off center), but the lady next to Keith got two and gave me one. I was amazed and delighted!

Keith got bubbles on his head when Glenda made it snow to deactivate the sleeping spell poppies. I got none, right next to him.

We enjoyed the shopping – so many fun things.

There was a show in the lobby afterward with the gatekeeper and wizard that continued the fun.

I adored the legs sticking out of the Sphere. (I loved it on a T shirt, too)

We wandered the extensive inside of the Venetian. We had lunch canal side at a Mexican restaurant (not Italian? Huh) that was delicious.

We walked along the strip back to our hotel, about 5 miles by the time we made it back at 4pm. We were amazed by the size of the giant guitar that will eventually be a Hard Rock hotel.

We saw lots of self-driving taxis.

We went into the Flamingo and walked through their nature preserve. It was so pretty and peaceful, other than a bass somewhere that was so loud it made the pond ripple. Duck is for TB. He likes ducks.

We looked at high roller Ferris wheel. I think I would like to go up in it. It takes 30 minutes to go around once.

We sat on a bench by the main entrance to the Paris hotel. It is on a side street off the strip. We were in the shade and it was so beautiful and peaceful. It was such a nice time to just take a break and enjoy where we were.

We made evening plans once we were back in the room. WrestleMania is here tonight, but I would rather see it in Pittsburgh. I picked the Penn and Teller 50th anniversary show. We saw a blimp on the way over the Rio for the show.

Penn and Teller started at the Renaissance Festival in Shakopee, ya know. Before the show started, there was a piano player and bass player entertaining the crowd. Keith noticed right away that Penn was the bass player. The sign behind them said The Mike Jones Duo. When Penn left for the show, the The and Duo parts of the sign turned off.

I wish I could tell you about every trick they did and every funny thing Penn said, but I can’t. Rest assured, IT WAS HILARIOUS AND AMAZING!!!!!!! I could not have loved it more!! (Teller pulled coins that were not there out of a tank of water and put them into a fishbowl, then put them back and they turned into fish, and it was INCREDIBLE. You should have been there)
