You probably shouldn’t

When you think you will just do something you haven’t done before and will need to take that thing out in public, you probably shouldn’t do that. You should probably do something you have a clue about doing.

Last night we got home from Menards (we got a new light that WORKS!) at 10:30 and I decided to make fondant out of marshmallows. We didn’t have as many marshmallows as I thought we had (12 oz v a pound). I thought that would be okay. Then we didn’t have enough powdered sugar, so I thought I would make some. Keith volunteered to run to the grocery store. That seemed so hard to me. He thought making powdered sugar seemed so hard. We opened all sorts of cupboards looking for more sugar and we FOUND some. I made the fondant.

I am supposed to bring a birthday cake to book club tomorrow. I thought I would make a stack of books out of cake, like TV and internet people. I totally forgot about all the cake fail pictures that I have seen. I should not have forgotten.
